The foundation for this praline recipe was laid in our house decades ago. At family celebrations, birthdays, christenings, weddings and the like, these balls were happily snacked on in one variation or another.

Balles Pralines

Homemade and delicious pralines, quick and easy

Ingredients
  

Ingredients for approx. 40 chocolates:

  • 50 g chocolate coating
  • 125 g butter
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 100 g marzipan paste
  • 100 g butter biscuits (ground,)
  • 100 g ground walnuts
  • 40 ml coconut liqueur
  • 100 g banana chips (ground in a blender)
  • 50 g icing sugar
  • 30 g coconut flakes
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar.

Also:

  • 30 g coconut flakes
  • 30 g ground walnuts

Instruction
 

  • Melt the couverture in a bain-marie, add the butter in pieces and stir until smooth.
  • Stir in the coconut liqueur. Add the marzipan in small pieces to the mixture and stir until smooth.
  • Remove the mixture from the water bath.
  • Finely grind the banana chips in the blender and stir into the mixture.
  • Add the remaining ingredients one by one and mix until a homogeneous, relatively firm mass is formed.
  • Form balls the size of a walnut with moistened hands.
  • Roll the balls half in coconut flakes and half in walnuts.
